Hey pals! It's nearly summer and I'm going to take a short break from SAKANA updates to work on some other projects for a few weeks! 

A. I'm trying to get through the first revamped chapter of SAKANA on Webtoons! Not only is this a fun and cathartic exercise for me (even though I know you're never supposed to redo your first webcomic pages, I KNOW, I KNOW) but it's also helping me totally reacquaint myself with the comic in a new way. 

It would mean THE WORLD to me if you could like and subscribe to SAKANA on Webtoons! I'm testing out new ways to reach an even wider audience, and I hope this will help me do that! B. I also want to hop back on ROBBER/ROBERT for a bit! I MISS THOSE GUYS. What better month to revisit my favorite gay aliens?????

C. I don't have any conventions planned until the end of August, and then they're NONSTOP until January! I need to make some new minicomics and merch to sell this year! Some of that will also be SAKANA stuff! Hooray!

For example, I realized I just started drawing these in the comic and never uh...actually said what they were! Now you can read Sakana AND learn about transportation at the market!

There's quite a lot of pages to get through, so I'm going to try to keep a brisk pace of uploads. I'm also doing a bit of art and lettering cleanup, so the pages will look a little different on WT! I think it'll be fun for Sakana readers old and new to see the difference, and subscribing to the WT page is a great way to support me making the comic! 

The original pages will remain as-is on the website! This is more or less a soft launch, so I haven't determined a regular update schedule for WT yet (I'm thinking M/W/F). But check out this cool facelift!

Hey we haven't seen one of these in a long time: it's a two-page stack! The Sakana version of a double-page spread! Sorry this took a little longer than usual to finish, but that's what happens when you decide to make a 12"x18" page with 10 panels and 6 detailed backgrounds I GUESS?? Mori's flower shop might be the most realized environment in the whole comic at this point, sheesh.

Finished the BlenderGuru doughnut tutorial, as many Blender neophytes have before me. Pretty happy with the result, but now I'm excited to learn some more complicated modeling. 

I've started the process of learning some 3D art skillz. Just some prop arrangements in Unreal Engine (I didn't make the props, just placed them around) and my first Blender tutorial!

Yeah, the family dinner? The one we've been talking about for 13 years? 

BACK FROM ALL MY TRAVEL, and back to uninterrupted updates for the forseeable future! I was in 5 different states, 10 different cities, and two different countries for the better part of the last 3 months. Looking forward to STAYING HOME and finally getting some work done!!! 

Hoping to have some new art for stickers or keychains with everybody's new Volume 4 outfits soon! 

There will be NO updates this coming Thursday or next Tuesday because I'm going to be in SCOTLAND for about a week and a half! And then...after that...finally my three months of nonstop travel will be over ;__;
